Leadership and Service Trips

In August of 2016, I waltzed into FIU's Organization fair during freshman orientation and was instantly intrigued by Alternative Breaks (aB). Since then I have gone on three service trips. I have worked on domestic violence awareness in Chicago, IL., LGBTQ rights and outreach in San Francisco, CA., and youth development and childcare in Antigua, Guatemala. Volunteering with aB has been an eye-opening and heart-warming experience. Through aB, I found my passion for service and social change.
